navigating mold is overwhelming and expensive.
I know because I've lived it.
Each 60-minute session is designed to bring clarity and calm to what is often an overwhelming situation.
When mold exposure becomes a possibility, many families suddenly find themselves juggling difficult decisions about their health, their home, and their finances — often all at once.
These strategy sessions are intentionally structured as first-line support to help you make sense of what’s happening and determine the most appropriate next steps.
They work beautifully as a practical starting point while navigating remediation, avoidance, or uncertainty around a current living or working environment.
They can also support more than one member of a household, allowing families to discuss shared exposures and concerns within a single session when appropriate.
Following each call, Katie provides written guidance summarizing the key points discussed and recommended next steps. This typically arrives by email the same day or shortly after the session.
In active situations, people need
Without having to book individual appointments for each family member.
Anyone who has gone through (or is going through) a mold situation knows that the financial burden can add up quickly.
Testing, remediation, temporary housing, and medical care can all become part of the picture — sometimes very quickly.
Because of this, and because of how every body responds differently when mold exposed, these sessions are intentionally priced as an accessible starting point.
A Health Step 1, where people may or may not need to progress to a Health Step 2.
In most clinical settings, a single individualized consultation for one person can easily run $400–$500 or more.
I gladly paid $500 an hour when I desperately needed guidance, but we would not have been able to if our entire household needed that level of support.
I've heard stories of costs that make that price look like a steal.
I personally got into this work to help people and to make their journey back to health easier, less stressful, and less expensive than mine was, which is why this option exists.
These strategy sessions offer families a way to access thoughtful guidance without needing to schedule separate consultations for every member of the household during an already stressful time.
Those who find they need to work on downstream dysfunction as a result of biotoxin (mold) exposure can move into that deeper work after they're in clean air, and those who don't need it won't.
what to do
Everyone's body responds differently to mold and biotoxin exposure.
For some people, these sessions provide enough clarity to move forward confidently and to ultimately find relief from symptoms that came in or post-mold.
Others may find themselves with lingering or worsening symptoms, even after remediation.
Our bodies are all different, and we come with different genetics, lifestyles, and histories. This all matters. Unfortunately, some of us will require more comprehensive health investigation, functional lab workups, and one-on-one support once the immediate active situation is stabilized.
If that becomes appropriate, we can discuss what deeper work might look like at that time, only for the individuals who actually need it.
